IS YOUR GUT AFFECTING YOUR EMOTIONS OR, IS YOUR EMOTIONS AFFECTING YOUR GUT?

I have been supporting people with Anxiety, Panic Attacks, and Depression via a Change of Diet, the correct ‘Individualised Nutrients ‘ and Hypnotherapy for many moons

The cause of these debilitating emotional conditions is multi faceted, i.e there can be Environmental causes such as Grief, Lack Of Money, Stress, Peer Pressure, Bullying in the Workplace etc etc but when these emotional issues happen for ‘No Apparent Reason’ it is seen as a chemical issue and many people can suffer most of their lives with these hellish maladies with no real help to support them.

Gut Health can, for many people , play a massive part in these Emotional Conditions.

( You will notice I insist on calling these conditions EMOTIONAL ILLNESS and not MENTAL ILLNESS. The media would have us believe we are all mental but I was taught that mental illness includes PSYCHOSIS and many people who are mentally ill often don’t know they are mentally ill !)

Anyway … back to the gut . If our little families of gut bacteria are not healthy or happy or if certain strains or families are none existent this can affect our neurotransmitters that carry messages to the brain and can affect our chemistry or our serotonin and dopamine which in turn can affect our emotions

But this is only one scenario where it can all go wrong. We can also destroy our gut lining via drugs and alcohol or just by indulging in over acidic foods or the wrong fats ( Fats are a massive subject and a whole other post) This can result in ‘leaky gut’ which can take months or years to heal but make no mistake it CAN HEAL and I often observe that the EMOTIONS start to heal BEFORE the gut !

Gut health and emotional illness is one of the biggest fields of research in our modern day , but still there is not enough messages out there telling … especially our young people … that DIET and nutritional deficiency MAY be playing a huge part in you having these awful feelings

Please know there just might be a very simple way back from this hell and it could be via DIET .
